Upon making a decision to change, we find the courage to face ourselves. Honesty is necessary. We must choose to grow.
A periodic review of self will determine if we remain in our comfort zone. Life, in general, teaches us evolution through lessons. We are born pure of heart. Throughout our lifetime, we are faced with challenges and obstacles. We are bombarded with wrong indications. We cling to limiting beliefs and negative thoughts swirl about in our heads.
A self-assessment requires silence in an environment without distractions. An opportunity to feel our feelings and examine our thoughts. Setting aside time for a life review to modify expectations should be a priority. Expectations of ourselves and others.
Our communication methods must be altered. Resolution must matter. Unfinished business without closure in relationships produces anxiety and fear. Dispute resolution through conversation can eliminate contention within.
We should aspire to achieve conscious awareness. At times, our own obstructions can prevent the acknowledgement of insight. When we cannot perceive ourselves correctly, we become unable to gain perspective. We must be able to admit to faults. We must be able to identify the impact we have on others.Stagnancy persists in deficiency.
In addition, our wounds must be realized to avert cyclical patterns. In our own understanding, our relationships form. Internal growth will yield external success. Foundational stability in relationships necessitate loyalty, love, respect, trust, value, and honesty.
An examination of self requires commitment. It is not for the faint of heart. Growth of self leads to evolution. Evolution of self leads to freedom. Freedom leads to peace. Peace leads to fulfillment. Fulfillment leads to joy.
My wish for all this holiday season is to be in joy.
